Q: Who is National Legal Assistants?
A: National Legal Assistants is a full-service paralegal service that serves the general public. We have over 25 years’ experience in all areas of civil litigation, including family law, bankruptcy, small claims, probate, wills, & trusts, real estate law, administrative law, immigration, business contracts, personal injury, and much more. Our paralegals have both educational and on-the-job experience working as a paralegal.
Q: Why should we use a paralegal service?
A: For clients representing themselves in court or needing to prepare legal documents, it is best to have a professional with the experience to handle your case effectively. The rules and regulations of the court can be confusing and any mistake can be detrimental to your case and can wind up costing you more money.
Our services are more cost-effective than using an attorney. Attorneys can cost up-to $400+ per hour, with most of the work you receive from an attorney is completed by a paralegal on their staff. When you hire an attorney, you are paying to have them represent you in court.
Q: How long will it take to receive my requested documents?
A: After a deposit is made and all necessary documents from the client is received, we will review your case and start work. From there, we are able to provide a plan of action to our clients. For less complex tasks, our general turn around time for document preparation is 4-5 business days.
Q: Who will be working on my case?
A: Once we receive your deposit and the files related to your case, we assign your case to our Case Manager. From there, we will have a paralegal team member start work on your case. We aim to provide the best service to our clients, therefore, depending on the complexity of your case, we might have more than one paralegal working on your case. You will always have direct access to contact us via phone or e-mail.
Q: Are you an attorney?
A: No, we are a paralegal service that only offers paralegal services. We do not offer attorney services.
Q: Can you represent me in court?
A: No, because we are a paralegal service, and in most cases, paralegals are not legally allowed to represent clients in court.
Q: Where are you located?
